Rollo May
Communication leads to community, that is, to understanding, intimacy and mutual valuing.

"The world is made up of stories, not atoms."
-Muriel Rukeyser

“When a thing is new, people say: ‘It is not true.’
Later, when its truth becomes obvious, they say: ‘It is not important.’
Finally, when its importance cannot be denied, they say:
'Anyway, it is not new.’”
--William James (1842-1910)

WELCOME TO THE SCHOOL of CONSCIOUS COMMUNICATION

Have you ever noticed how people zone out, don't really listen, and can't pay attention to what is said? How people interrupt, divert the conversation, go into endless stories, or get very distracted? See if you can't imagine someone coming into a room where you are having a pleasant conversation and... they immediately interupt you and speak about whatever is on their mind without wondering if they might be changing the course of what you were already engaged in? How conscious is their communication?

How many relationships would change for the better if both parties knew how to be more conscious with their communication, in a manner where their unconscious patterns did not destroy their ability to truly connect?

Human Beings are facing crisises in every direction because of our inability to truly consciously communicate with one another. It is time to fundamentally recognize that each person has a unique perspective which is most likely completely different than your own.

The School of Conscious Communication is an innovative process of learning how to be conscious in our communication. Based upon the breakthrough communication games (eg. The Harmonizer Table) developed by Ian Dakers, this school has a variety of programs and courses that will transform an individual's, group's, organization's and/or community's ability to learn, create and communicate together.
